In my work with dyslexia, there been cases where its not just the reading or writing skills that is in question, sometimes the kids been trough tough times in school where other kids been mobbing them for some reason.
Now, working with the future reference, and creating a new future, free of past links and references, for some might not seem possible.
Kids in that aspect are always easier to work with then adults. Many adults forms given the environment a judgment call that there is nothing one can do about their reading skills, they are now, handicapped for life, and the current science and approaches in pedagogical advances are at best, really bad.
So, many form, its no good its useless to try to get back to reading and writing, its much better to accept the reality of the situation, I am doomed for life.
So, I meet this kid, and he have had a bad rap, his teachers believe he cant use the bus from school, his antisocial etc…and have little to no understanding about him or his life.
So, I have a case here, with me trying to teaching him to read and write but obviously I also must handle the emotional baggage he has with his school.
I got to do that with his parents, and make sure this transfers to his school.
His abilities are low, self esteem is low, his motoric skills are low, his speaking abilities are disturbed by his background from another language.
So, I work on reading and speaking first, building a new system of that, and as that progress so well, I build upon that into the motoric skills, allowing him to hold a pen properly to write letters much more easily and more elegant due to him holding a pen the wrong way. Now, obviously this haven’t been noted in school, don’t they teach kids how to hold their pen or even make sure they do?
However, this kids go from, worse to good, in months.
So, I get this two kids, brother and sister, reading skills are low, writing was ok, and they have real bad issues with the grades.
One session, the brother suddenly started to get such good things going in school, he was accused of cheating, one session brought him from bad to really good.
Now, how can I do such improvement when teachers and such cant?
I know how the brain processes information, and I also know how to organize their brain to read but also to comprehend and assimilate knowledge faster.
I get this girl, age 11, and she been trough everything since age 4, tests, and all, and she spoke like a really handicapped kid, her speech was really bad, she was not happy to see me or to work with me as she been trough so much, I mean age 4 to age 11?
that is like 7 years of NO GOOD COMPETENT TEACHING.
So, I look at her body language, she is unhappy, angry, and I look at her and hear her talk and I tell her and her parents, ok this is what we will do, so I spend 3 hours basically making sure her voice starts to get back on track. Now as I do that I look at her and tells her, you feel ashamed as you cant speak properly?
She goes, yea, but she haven’t told me that, so how do I know?
So, I go on removing that, letting her build a new future reference, where she speaks properly.
Now, I tell her and her parents to call me after two weeks, and then as far, I am still waiting for them to call me.
Many times the effect in what I do, is so powerful and effectful, the few instances I need to work several times, are rare.
So, I saw her the next day, and now she was smiling, looking forward to work with me, why?
She had learned everything I did worked.
7 years of not working and 3 hours trying things with me and everything I did, improved her speech, her reading comprehension so she was now sitting, waiting to do things as she now got it, she wasn’t handicapped for the rest of her life, now there was not just hope, there was faith that she be as every other kid, normal.
I guess that was so cool working with kids, they go, so you teach this cool things and I get better?

I get so sad, because this is not what you see at school, or anywhere else. Everywhere I turn, now, there are people with no hope and no strength to change things for the better, either for them selves or for others.
It gives me hope to read about this and it´s thrilling that you can do this techniques on children.
One of my students a teacher actually 1 grade, took what I taught and applied it in her school.
what she did was to take 2 kids who was fighting, then demanded they both defined what they would do “next” and no excuses, blame etc…for who actually staretd the fight in other words, she didnt care what the fight was about, who started it, she just stated, what will you do next?, and until they did actually define that, she didnt let them loose.
3 weeks later, all the fights that was ongoing stopped happening.
she taught them, how to be limitless.
